Snoring is one of the most common problems all over the world. People who snore are often not aware of the problems related to snoring. However, if you are unable to give up smoking and want to keep that habit, you need to ensure that there is no smoking just before you go to sleep. Therefore, it is best to avoid smoking and absolutely no cigarettes at least for 4 hours before you go to bed.
Similar to smoking, alcohol also interferes with the sleeping patterns. Therefore, it is recommended to avoid drinking alcohol or any other kind of drugs before you go to bed. There is nothing wrong with drinking in moderation but you should not drink just before going to bed. For instance, a beer in the evening is not going to hurt you or put you into some big trouble. However, a beer just before going to bed will worsen snoring or sleep apnea.
It is also recommended to walk a little before you go to bed. It will not only help you relax but you will also feel fresh as fresh air with go inside your lungs and you will get an oxygen boost. Also, remember to wear comfortable clothing when you sleep. Do not make the mistake of sleeping in tight clothes as you will never be comfortable and it will worsen your snoring problem.
